This Challenge is activated after you impress the Japanese village. You have to complete it before you conquer the village, or you will not receive any reward. After completion, the Shaolin will help you three times, once each after you conquer the Japanese and Indian villages, and once more after. This is an amoral Challenge, though the Good Advisor claims it’s “ungodly” to follow him. |

The Challenge requires a lot of patience. Firstly, drop your totem to 0%, assuming you do not want your worshippers to starve. Make sure your villages are building or farming or whatever, because you will be out of it for a while. Gods are manifest in the world as a ball of light with their symbol in the center. For this Challenge at least, your ball is your “eye” and not your hand. The Shaolin will detect you based on your viewpoint, not the location of your hand. If you find him walking too slowly, you can speed the game up to make him walk faster. The whole trick to this is pausing the game before you move. Always pause before you move. This allows you to take your time and position yourself exactly where you want. You need to be close enough to see him, but not too close that he will detect you. There’s enough leeway to make this a Challenge. The yogi will stop and look around when he reaches a mushroom patch. Pause and move yourself to the mountainside, looking down on him. Be careful not to go too far ahead, as he may detect you when he starts to walk again. When he walks beneath the big rocks, you have to position yourself behind him, so that you have a clear view through the passage. That is all. |
