• Max Spell Level: The highest spell level a mage with this intelligence score can learn ((ie. a mage with 16 Int cannot learn 9th-level spells)).
• Learn Spell %: This is the percentile chance a mage can use a scroll, either to cast a spell directly or to inscribe it into his spellbook. There is a -10% penalty for every spell level higher than the mage’s comprehension ((ie. a mage who can cast 3rd-level spells trying to use a 5th-level scroll will suffer a -20% penalty)).
• Max # Spell/Level: This is the maximum number of spells that a mage can have in his spellbook per spell level ((ie. a mage with 16 Int can have 11 spells of each spell level in his spellbook)).
• Lore Modifier: This is added/subtracted from the character’s Lore ability, and is cumulative with the Lore modifier for Wisdom.
