| [ Download ] SimsEraser – I have Livin’ It Up (The UK version of Livin’ Large) and I have uninstalled all of my Sim games. I’m trying to re-install my Sims games and it is telling me that the game has to be uninstalled first. What should I do? This is a legacy bug from Livin’ It Up where a certain combination of installs and un-installs leaves entries in the Registry behind. Not all Registry entries were removed when you uninstalled the game, so we have created a small program that will allow you to clean out all Maxis entries in your Windows Registry. SimsEraser will clean the registry information that could be preventing you from installing any of The Sims products. This program will not, however, delete any files from your hard drive. If you wish to remove installed game files, you must do this manually. Once finished, you should reinstall in the following order: The Sims, Living Large, House Party, and Hot Date. |
