Easter Eggs :: Cutting Room Floor
Here are some things which didn’t make it to the final release. Not exactly Easter Eggs, but interesting none-the-less. ::
- Take a look at the picture above; notice how the Cathedral is called a Church, and that it is set to the “Bible Thumping” option ?
- Bible Thumping – Increases religious service quality by 10% to those who attend.
- Evangelizing – Increases pro-religious effect on surrounding areas by 50%.
- Social Welfare – Causes church to radiate a pro-communist effect alongside it’s religious effect.
- Statues had options too;
- Spic and Span – Clean regularly so that it has full effect on passersby.
- Pigeon Perch – Take a more leisurely approach to cleaning. Maintenance costs -50%, Effectiveness and beauty -25%.
- And a few Edicts that didn’t make the cut;
- People – Patrol, Investigate
- Economic – Union Busting
- Social – Eye for an Eye – It’s time to return to the old methods of dealing with crime. Only strict punishment can deter the hoodlums. By instituting an ‘eye for an eye’ punishment system, crime will fall by perhaps 40%. Unfortunately, some citizens will resent it, and the liberty rating on the island will fall by 20%.
- And a character that didn’t make it was the female Spy.
