| Hardware acceleration is not required, but will provide improved performance – Optional 3D Hardware Mode may be enabled if you have at least 16Mb of Video RAM, with 32Mb recommended. Certain older, more obscure 3D cards may be unable to utilize hardware mode even with sufficient RAM. Number Nine Revolution and Voodoo Banshee cards will not run correctly. Hardware 3D does not work with Windows NT4. The following cards (with 16Mb Video RAM or more) have been successfully tested with Hardware 3D mode: Nvidia TNT 1/2, NVidia GeForce 1/2, 3DFX Voodoo 3/4/5, ATI Rage 128 (ATI Rage Fury), ATI Rage Fury Maxx, ATI Radeon, Matrox G400, S3 Savage4, 3DLabs Permedia 3, NEC Power VR2/VR3. |
