Warrior
- Standard 7GM skills :: Weapon (Archery, Fencing, Mace Fighting or Swordsmanship), Anatomy, Healing, Magery, Parrying, Resisting Spells and Tactics.
- Some players choose Poisoning or Lumberjacking in place of Parrying or Resist Spells.
- PvP players may choose Hiding in place of parrying, since most PvPers use two-handed weapons.
- Ideal stats are 100 Str., 100 Dex. and 25 Int. Hence the term “Dex Monkey”, because of the 25 Int.
Two-handed Weapons ((Special Hits)) [UOR] [Changed 200801]]
- Any melee weapon that requires two hands to wield will gain a special attack.
- The type of special attack will depend on the type of weapon used.
- Fencing Weapon: Paralyzing Blow, victim is paralyzed for 4 seconds. Once paralyzed, the victim cannot fight back (he will not auto-defend) or cast spells, however he can still use potions and bandages. The paralysis will not break by any means, even if the victim takes damage. Once paralyzed, the victim cannot be paralyzed again with another special attack until the paralysis wears off.
- Mace Weapon: Crushing Blow, a hit for 50% more damage [Changed [22062k] was double damage]. This only applies to true maces, not staves.
- Sword Weapon: Concussion Blow, victim’s intelligence is halved for 30 seconds. Note the effects of a concussion blow are not cumulative, once a target is the victim of a concussion blow, they cannot be hit in that manner again for 30 seconds.
- [200801] NPCs can now do special hits if they have the anatomy skill and a two-handed melee weapon equipped.
- [200801] All special hits done with 2-handed weapons now base their chance to go off on the attacker’s Anatomy. The percentage chance to do a special hit is: Anatomy / 4. This would create the following chances:
- 0.0 Anatomy skill yields a 0% chance
- 40.0 Anatomy skill yields a 10% chance
- 100.0 Anatomy skill yields a 25% chance
