[Context Sensitive Menus] Context-sensitive menus are new menus players can use to access the various functionalities available on creatures and NPCs, such as accessing the shopkeeper interface, being trained by an NPC, ordering a pet to attack, or opening your bank box from a banker.
[06052k] Dropping house deeds on bankers will no longer cause the banker to accept the deed.
[28042k][Facets] Bankboxes will be the same and be accessible regardless of which land you are in.
Bankboxes have had their weight limits removed and containers within the bankbox will not have a weight limit either. The bankbox retains the 125 total item limit, including any items in containers within the bank.
Bankers and Minters will respond to these commands:
“Bank” :: Your bankbox will open.
“Balance” or “Statement” :: Replies with the total amount of gold in your bank. This does not include gold in check form.
“Withdraw ###gp” :: Places ###gp in your backpack, if there is enough space.
“Check ###gp” :: Gives you a bank check of ###gp.
You do not have to say the NPC’s name to get his attention, merely saying the command while near him will suffice.
Like secure containers, your bankbox has no weight limit and an item count limit of 125.
Bank checks will allow players to carry around large sums of gold to facilitate secure trading.
To get a bank check:
Go to a banker and say, “check ###” where “###” is the amount of gold you wish the check to be worth (between 5,000 and 1,000,000 gold).
If you have the requested gold in your bank, a bank check of that value will be placed in your bankbox and the gold will be removed.
The bank check will look like a scroll. When single-clicked, the check will tell you its value.
If you do not have enough gold in your bank, you will receive a message letting you know the check was not created.
To redeem a bank check:
Drag the bank check onto a banker.
If you have enough room in your bankbox, the banker will take the check and place the gold in your bank.
If you do not have enough room in your bankbox, the banker will take the check and place as much gold in your bank as he can. The remaining gold will be given back to you in the form of a new bank check.
[Changed [23022k]] The original limit of a check was 60,000. This was changed to between 5,000 and 1,000,000 gold.
Commodity Deeds New items known as “commodity deeds” will give players the opportunity to transport and trade resources, of sizes that were previously unable to be held within a character’s backpack, with greater ease and security than before. Listed below are some additional details:
[Added 081001] Commodity deed “contracts” may be purchased from NPC bankers.
These contracts will appear in the form of a silvery-hued deed.
[Added Today] Commodity Deeds are “blessed,” in that they cannot be stolen (if kept in the top level of one’s backpack), and cannot be looted.
When first created, commodity deeds will be empty and hold no items.
Empty commodity deeds will be labeled as “an unfilled commodity deed”.
The commodity deed may be filled by double-clicking the deed, then targeting an applicable item.
The target item must be of a stackable type (ex. logs, ingots, or Mandrake Root).
The target item must be within the targeting character’s bank box.
[Added 081001] The items which may fill a commodity deed are as follows:
ammo ((arrows, crossbow bolts, shafts, feathers))
wood ((boards, logs))
cloth ((bolts of cloth, pieces of cloth, piles of folded cloth))
