Homes :: Decorating :: Decorating with Lady Jordan :: Waterfall | Taproom Piano
– by Lady Jordan of Sonoma
OK, here it is, folks. I have gotten 5 requests for this one. This is the infamous tower roof waterfall. (I have made this one in a villa, a marble, and a cabin now!!!)
There is absolutely no way that I can give detailed instructions on this one. I mean, you would be downloading forever and a day. =) But, this is SO easy I can put one up in about an hour if I have all the necessary supplies. I will tell you that I prefer this look without having the pillows dyed, maybe because they compliment the color of the rocks?
To make this waterfall, the most expensive part is the pillows. (I am not counting, of course, the trees and rocks.) With the new addition of dyed pillows, their price has gone from 500gp to 5k, on Sonoma at least. And, since there is some apparent nerf in fishing up SOS bottles, they are getting harder to find.
Tips and hints if you want to try this: Start in the corner and do 1 complete square at a time… Stack all the items as you want them to appear (i.e., cloth on bottom, cotton, pillow, and silk if you want it) Then, using the interior decorator tool (best thing OSI has done in almost 3 yrs) raise it to the appropriate heights.
And, really, it is that simple.
(Now, please stop the nasty e-mails… you know who you are!!!)
