| Item | Getting There |
| Setting the Facing on Furniture |
- Place the items in a crate, or a trash barrel, if you are confident you would not get a connection loss.
- Take the item out and repeat until it faces in the direction you want it to.
- Double-click an axe and target the container to destroy it.
- The item now faces the direction desired.
|
| Locking Near Doors |
- Open the Door.
- Lock down the item.
|
| Floating Items |
- Get a newbie item, like a deathrobe.
- Stack up normal items until you reach the required height.
- Place the deathrobe on top of the stack.
- Place your item on top of the deathrobe.
- When the deathrobe decays, remove all items under it. Your item will remain in the air.
- As you can walk under a floating item, you can create a “false ceiling” of crates, or place a vendor or guildstone beneath the floating item.
- Floating lightsources at each side of a doorway for that chic “well-lit” look.
- Remember to lock the item down.
|
| Stacking Items |
Two Items;
- Stack up the items normally.
- Remove the lower item, the higher item will drop down.
- Drop the item onto your spellbook, it will recoil back.
- Both items are now on the same layer.
More Items;
- Place the items in a crate, or a trash barrel, if you are confident you would not get a connection loss.
- Double-click an axe and target the container to destroy it.
- All items are now on the same layer as the container was.

Water Barrels |
- Get a normal barrel. They spawn in dungeons and monster camps.
- Buy a few pitchers of water from any innkeeper.
- Use the pitcher on the barrel.
- Fill her up.
- A barrel can hold 20 pitchers worth of water.
- Water Barrels cannot be picked up.
- Unlike normal barrels, they do not block passage.
- To empty a water barrel;
- Double-click an empty pitcher and target the water barrel.
- Double-click the filled pitcher of water and target yourself to drink the water.
- Repeat until empty.
- Once emptied, a water barrel becomes, simply, a barrel.
- This barrel cannot be used as a container, and will not be locked down, even if the original water barrel was locked down.
- Note that barrels will decay even if locked down, so it is best to turn all your barrels into water barrels.

| Stacking Pets/Hirelings |
- Bring all your pets and hirelings to a spot outside your house. Say ‘All Stay’.
- Mark a Rune.
- Go to the spot inside your house where you want to stack your creatures.
- Lock down items next to the spot, to keep the creatures in place.
- Open a Gate to the spot outside.
- Go out. Say ‘All Follow Me’ and go back through the Gate.
- Recall out of the spot.
- A great way to raise Karma is to hire a small army of NPCs and stack them, followed by repeatedly casting Archprotection on the group.
