[23082k] Boats will not be able to become drydocked unless the boat’s anchor is down.
[10072k] You will no longer be able to place a boat in a dungeon.
[231199] Boat models will say the type of boat and the name of the boat when single-clicked.
When you create a ship, a ship key will be created in your backpack and another will be placed in your bankbox.
Do not carry this key around, if someone gets hold of it, through theft or looting, they can Recall to your boat and drydock her.
Like houses, ships will decay over time. Anyone with a key (original or duplicate) can refresh the ship by double-clicking the gangplank. To check the name and decay status of the ship, single-click on the Tillerman.
You cannot see the contents of a ship until you have boarded.
To board the ship, double-click the key and target the gangplank (both sides of the ship next to the mast), then double-click the gangplank to open it. Double-click it again to board (or use Last Object). Remember to lock your ship again.
You can Recall to your ship by casting recall and targeting the ship key. This only works for original keys, “A Ship Key”, and not for copies.
Open the gangplank and walk off it to disembark. You need to be near land to do this, and the gangplank does not need to be unlocked.
If you die, your ghost can command the ship, and even open the gangpank to disembark. However, if the ship is locked, you cannot come aboard again until you are resurrected, so be careful where you disembark.
Like all containers, your Hold can contain a maximum of 125 items or 400 stones.
Your ship can point in any of the four compass directions, and move in any of the eight.
