Info, Options & Commands :: House Sign
- The Owner, Co-Owners and Friends can double-click the sign to bring up the Home Options Menu.
- Anyone can single-click the sign to show the name and decay status of the home.
- [231199] If the house was placed before the house placement changes – a “legacy house”, there will be a message stating, “This house is of Classic Design.” After the changes; “This house is of Modern Design.”
- Name of the owner of the house.
- Number of locked down items, out of the maximum number.
- Number of secure containers, out of the maximum number.
- An option to rename the home.
- A public building will have the number of visits it has had displayed.
| List of Co-Owners | All other characters on your account is automatically a co-owner, and not listed here. Unlike the Ban list, this is by character, not by account. |
| Add a Co-Owner | (Owner Only) Target a character to make her a co-owner of the home. There is a limit of 8 co-owners per home. |
| Remove a Co-Owner | (Owner or Co-Owners Only) Brings up a list of co-owners with the option to remove any of them. A co-owner may remove herself. |
| List of Friends | Unlike the Ban list, this is by character, not by account. |
| Add a Friend | (Owner or Co-Owners Only) Target a character to make her a friend of the home. There is a limit of 50 friends per home. |
| Remove a Friend | (Owner or Co-Owners Only) Brings up a list of friends with the option to remove any of them. |
| Clear Friends List | (Owner or Co-Owners Only) Removes all friends of the home. |
| Ban | As the “I ban thee” command. This bans the entire account of the targeted character. There is a limit of 50 banned accounts per home. Banned creatures will be moved under the house sign. |
| Eject | As the “Remove thyself” command. Ejected creatures will be moved under the house sign. |
| List of Bans | Unlike the Friends list, this is by account, not by character. |
| Lift a Ban | Brings up a list of banned people with the option to remove any of them. |
| Transfer Ownership | (Owner Only) The owner must be outside the home and the targeted character must not already be a home owner or co-owner. The Friends/Ban Lists are cleared, and the locks changed, with new House keys in the backpack and bank of the new owner. See Secure House Trading. |
| Demolish House and Get a Deed Back | (Owner Only) All house add-ons are destroyed, all other items end up on the floor. Single-click a Locked Down item to release it. A House Deed will appear in the bank of the owner, or in the backpack if the owner is a Murderer. If there is a Guildstone or Vendor attached to the house, it has to be moved or disbanded/dismissed in order to redeed the house. |
| Change Locks | (Owner Only) The owner must be carrying a copy of the House Key (which is why it is always best to keep a copy of the House key in a secure container). New House Keys will appear in the backpack and bank. This option does not work in a Public House. |
| Declare Building Public/Private | (Owner or Co-Owners Only) The exterior doors of a Public House cannot be locked, Vendors may be placed, and the House sign can be changed. You cannot turn a House Private if there are Vendors in it. Remember to lock your doors again if you turn your home Private. |
| Change House Sign | Only Public Houses can change their sign type. |
